Property Development: Repair and Remodelling of a Grade II Listed Terrace

Scope of Role: Initial Feasibility, Detailed Design and Planning Application with Listed Building consent. Construction Information, and Construction Management.
Plan A was appointed by the client following their purchase of 58-60 West Street. Following several feasibility studies in consultation with the local authority, a scheme was agreed to remodel the existing building to create individual retail and residential units, in conjunction with a new build private dwelling in the courtyard space behind. The new contemporary building has a highly insulated timber frame structure, lightweight cladding, grass/sedum roof and integrated energy generation technologies.
